Getting Here Casa Mar Lodge is located on the northeast Caribbean coast of Costa Rica in the remote Barra del Colorado National Wildlife Refuge. You’ll arrive in San Jóse, the capital of Costa Rica and travel to the small fishing village of Barra del Colorado located in the Province of Limón. The area represents one of the largest river and lagoon systems of fishable waters on Costa Rica’s east coast.
• Passport is required to enter Costa Rica. • Casa Mar Lodge will arrange your round trip air transfer from San Jóse, Costa Rica to Barra del Colorado. • An overnight stay in San Jóse, Costa Rica is usually necessary to meet the scheduled departure time for transfer to the lodge. • Included in the package is your ground transportation in San Jóse, Costa Rica.
