Clothing - Most of the clothing will need to be of a lightweight, breathable fabric in light colors. The sun can
be very intense and the lightweight clothing will make things more comfortable. Our preference in clothing is the Simms,
Cloudveil or Ex-Officio brands. Companies like these also design lightweight, breathable shorts and pants. Remember if
you wear shorts, you will need to lather up with sunscreen to protect your bare skin.

Rubber-soled tennis shoes or sandals will work fine while you fish from the boats and walk around camp. One important
garment often overlooked is a rain jacket. A rain jacket is a necessity due to the sudden squalls that can produce a hard rain
for a short period of time. People are amazed at the sudden rain and temperature changes these squalls can produce.
Wide-brimmed hats will keep the sun off the ears and cut the glare in your eyes. A good pair of polarized sunglasses is
nice on a bright, sunny day.

Miscellaneous Necessities - Lightweight clothing with SPF Protection, Sunscreen with
at least 30 SPF Protection, Bug repellent (bugs are not too bad), Watertight bag to take equipment in boats, Camera
and film (don't forget extra batteries), Wide-brimmed lightweight hat, Windbreaker (can get windy at times), Lightweight
rain gear (always keep handy), Sandals or deck shoes, Hook sharpener (hooks must be sharp!), Fighting belt,
Personal items (shaving kit, deodorant, soap, etc.), Polarized glasses (must have eye protection), Money, Flex-wrap
(tape the fingers so the line won't cut you), Cigarettes or cigars (optional) - lighter, Medication (aspirin, cold medicine, etc.),
Passport (do not forget your passport)

Experience great tarpon fishing in the secluded Costa Rican rainforest!
