  Costa Rica is considered one of the most ecologically-diverse areas in the
  world, so don’t forget your camera. While visiting, you’ll want to take an
  eco-tour through the numerous side channels and lagoons found surrounding
  Casa Mar.

  Located on the Rio Colorado, a tributary of the great San Juan River, and
  in the Barra del Colorado National Refuge, the ecosystem is host to
  spectacular flora and fauna. You are likely to see the following on your visit:

•  Costa Ricans are commonly called Ticos.
•  Spanish is the national language, but English is spoken widely and
    in fact is a required course for Costa Rican children. All of our
    guides are English speaking.
•  Colon is the currency and exchange is possible at the airport and
    hotels but U.S. dollars are preferred at Casa Mar.
•  Casa Mar is located in a rainforest and rainfall should be expected.
•  Average daytime temperature is approximately 80°F - 85°F.
