  Located on the Rio Colorado, a tributary of the great San Juan River, and
  in the Barra del Colorado National Refuge, the ecosystem is host to

•  Spanish is the national language, but English is spoken widely and
    in fact is a required course for Costa Rican children. All of our
    guides are English speaking.
•  Colon is the currency and exchange is possible at the
airport and
    hotels but U.S. dollars are preferred at Casa Mar.
•  Casa Mar is located in a rainforest and rainfall should be expected.
•  Average daytime temperature is approximately 80°F - 85°F.
